What is surf guiding ?
Hi! I'm your surf guide in Portugal and I'll pick you up by car and we will go hunt for some nice waves for you in areas of Lisbon, Costa da Caparica, Carcavelos, Sintra, Ericeira and Peniche/Baleal.
I'll explain the spot to you so you can get more and better waves.
It includes two surf sessions, morning and afternoon.
I'll surf with you or take pictures/videos of you surfing if you prefer.
If you don't have a surfboard or a wetsuit we have some to rent, so send us a message in advance.
You will have a great surf session and be happy you visited Portugal for surfing!

This is surf guiding only (not a surf lesson), so I assume you can take green waves by yourself, can manage yourself and the board inside the water, and can paddle out to the outside by yourself.
If you need surf lessons it can be arranged with a local surf school, but you need to tell me in advance since this is outside of the scope of this session.

I had a great experience surfing with Tiago around Lisbon. He showed me a variety of breaks of different sizes and shape- I was pretty much able to choose exactly what I wanted and we went and found it. He took care of the board, wetsuit and transportation so there was nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend for surfers of all levels visiting Portugal!

This was probably one of the best experiences of my life.
Tiago was one of the nicest, humble and most relatable people that I have ever met in my life.
He showed me all around Costa Da Caparica from different surfing breaks to restaurants to even a cool view that overlooked the city.
From 9 Am - 7 Pm we spent the whole day together.

I'M NEW TO SURF OR I ALREADY SURFED BUT I’M YET NOT AT THE LEVEL WHERE I CAN MANAGE MYSELF IN THE SURF WITHOUT A SURF COACH. CAN I REQUEST SURF GUIDING ?
Surf Guiding is for people who can already surf (at any level besides white water) and can manage themselves and the board in the surf without the need of a surf coach.
If you need a surf coach then we suggest to try a surf class our surf school in the numerous surf schools around. If you don’t know any message us and we will recommend you some surf schools.
HOW LONG DOES THE SURF GUIDING TAKE ?
This service is a full day of surfing, morning and afternoon session.

I DON’T HAVE A SURFBOARD OR WETSUIT. CAN I RENT ?
Yes!
We have a selection of surfboards from performance surfboards to longboards for you to choose from. Just remember to send us a message in advance and we will set you up.
